DICKIE
SHEARER

Hello. Welcome. I’m Dickie.
Most of my life has been spent moving through the Global South — learning how people live, what they believe, and how culture shapes the systems we build. The wins and the failures taught me something simple: the world makes far more sense when you stop viewing it through the frames you inherited.
This site isn’t really about my work, though it sits in the background of everything. It’s more of a personal space — a place to think aloud, to follow ideas wherever they go, and to try to understand the threads that connect things we pretend are separate.
I’m drawn to the places where disciplines blur: ancient architecture and modern finance, myth and politics, Jung and blockchain, consciousness and economics. I don’t see those as contradictions. I see them as different expressions of the same human story.
Sometimes I write about the future of money. Sometimes about the human condition. Sometimes about a thought or memory that won’t leave me alone. None of it is polished or definitive — it’s just me trying to make sense of a world that is changing at a rapid pace that everyone can feel.
If you’re here out of curiosity, welcome. I don’t have the answers — only the questions I keep circling, and a hope that, in some small way, the work I do and the things I write about here help illuminate the world as it’s changing.
Thank you for being here. I appreciate it.
Dickie
